On November 14–15, 2024, the President of the Industry Innovation Cluster (IIC) participated in the prestigious Gaia-X Summit 2024 in Helsinki. The event brought together thought leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to discuss the future of data spaces, AI, and digital ecosystems in Europe.
During the summit, our president actively promoted the work of Gaia-X Hub Slovakia, highlighting its role in fostering innovation and collaboration in the region. She also presented key initiatives undertaken by the IIC, including the impactful projects Interreg ReBuilt and Human-Centric Preference-based Optimization (HCP-bO).

- Interreg ReBuilt focuses on the circular and digital renewal of the construction and building sector in Central Europe, promoting sustainable practices and green innovations.
- HCP-bO leverages AI-powered preference-based optimization algorithms to enhance industrial processes, offering intuitive, programming-free solutions to operators.

The Gaia-X Summit provided an excellent platform to exchange ideas, form new collaborations, and showcase the IIC’s dedication to advancing Europe’s data economy.
