The ReBuilt project took center stage at the SME Assembly 2024 and the European Enterprise Promotion Awards 2024 in Budapest. Organized by the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the European Commission, the event created an ideal space for meaningful discussions and innovative ideas to flourish.

During the event, we were thrilled to announce new collaborations in Budapest as part of the ReBuilt initiative.

What is ReBuilt?
ReBuilt focuses on the circular and digital renewal of the construction and building sector in Central Europe. The construction industry significantly impacts the environment, contributing to resource consumption, waste generation, and greenhouse gas emissions. The project aims to address these challenges by:

  • Promoting circular and digital practices to reduce the environmental footprint of construction activities.
  • Offering an education programme that equips professionals with knowledge on sustainable and digital solutions.
  • Designing a transnational circular and digital construction strategy, incorporating:
    • Green labelling,
    • End-of-waste criteria,
    • Green public procurement practices.

Through these efforts, ReBuilt is leading the way in fostering sustainable development and innovation in the construction industry.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share our vision and progress at these prestigious events, and we look forward to expanding our network and driving impactful change in the sector.
